Communication & Leadership Award 2011

What is it?

The Communication and Leadership Award is the highest Toastmasters award available for the District to present to a non-Toastmaster. The District presents this award to a person who has made an outstanding contribution in the community though communication and leadership, such as a provincial or local politician, a media person, a business person or a community volunteer.

The person must be a Non-Toastmaster and preferably, the Nominee is local to the community where the event is being held. It is essential that, given the nature of the award, that the Nominee attends the Communications and Leadership Luncheon in person to receive the award. They will also be required to deliver a 10 to 12 minute acceptance speech.
