Start A New Club District 60 Toastmasters will provide a support team to help you start a corporate or a community club. Corporate clubs can be restricted to company employees or open to the community. The support team will provide you with all the information and guidance required to start your club. The most effective way to launch a new community club is to host a Speechcraft™ program. Patterned after our standard club educational program, this 4-8week experience (8-16 hours) gets your membership involved in the communications and leadership program from day one. We recommend that you begin with 8-12 participants but smaller groups can be equally successful as start-ups. Throughout the 4-8 week program we'll also help you form your executive team and acquaint them with club operations. When your club reaches charter strength of 20 or more members, you can receive your official charter from Toastmasters International. Corporate Clubs can be easily formed by hosting a Demonstration meeting for interested staff members. A small team of Toastmasters will put on a Demo of a typical Toastmaster meeting, followed by a question and answer period. Sponsors will assist with all of the documentation and initial planning and meetings, and Mentors will remain with the club for a minimum of six months for continued support. If you would like to start a new club, please:
